I have IOT Expressif installed on a Blackberry Passport which has worked OK. I have an old iPhone 4 in the house, so I install both Expressif and SmartConfig on it. The unit I have is connected and haven't been able to try the SmartConifg app.
Expressif seemed to locate the BC24, not much to do other than to tap OK once it found it. It did take a couple of goes.
I have a WPS router, but was too lazy to go down and push the button. Can't comment on how this part works.
I had trouble getting the connected to the BC24 with the web browser (192.168.4.1) A couple of times the browser window opened up, but nothing more. No blue buttons with the SSID's. The last time I tried it did work and was actually very easy to connect using the browser, but it was not easy to get the BC24 to play nice to get to the browser.
