Hi, I'm having some serious difficulty getting the BC24 to work.
I have tried both Android apps to set up the wifi, but the BC24 just keeps flashing the 5 red lights at the bottom of the LED circle array. The apps say that it worked, and I see the expressif IP address in my router admin, but it is not saving the settings to the BC24, as far as I can tell. If I unplug it and start over the IP disappears from the router admin, and I have to do it again.
If I enter that URL in the browser address, I see the file, no problem.
I am definitely online, running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, router is Asus RT-AC55U

Make sure the "https://" is in front of the reset of the URL. (minus the quotes)

Hi, so after re-installation and struggling all day with missing libraries and other errors, I finally got the Arduino IDE to compile and upload the demo program.
But I still cannot get it to go online, and this time there is no sign of it on my router admin. I still could not get the Smart Config to work, so I decided to try door #3.
I am able to see the AP point BigCircl24 – 3DFE, and I can connect to it without any problem, but when I try to go to to the web server IP address (192.168.4.1) it will not connect. I just get a browser error "Unable to connect".
Any ideas?

AB,
Yes, we needed to have some kind of timeout so it would work without WiFI.
