Hi,
Is there any progress on the raspiconnect replacement, Blynk? I am getting sick and tired of the recurring wunderground problems. I see strange things happen, but when I look in the database on my PWS, alle seems ok. Wunderground is experiencing problems according to their forums. Anyway, it would be nice to be able to look at my PWS directly and not through wunderground.

Tons of progress on Blynk! We have it totally running on our new Smart Garden System. GroveWeatherPi is next.

Hi,
Trying to balance between patience and whining... Any progress on Blynk for GroveWeatherPi?

Ah, whining is appropriate. We have just started putting this together now using the SmartGardenSoftware and moving it to GWP.

Would it be possible to have a led on the solar screen indicating if the usb power input on the sunair is active?

Yes, that could be done. It's pretty easy to do in your code. You detect it (You should be able to tell from the SunAIrPlus readings), then send it to Blynk (lots of examples in the GWP code) and add a new LED on Blynk.

Another blynk hickup? I hooked up the powersave between the oled and the hub. I connected to cable to the D13 output. Restarted everything and… When I switch the oled off in blynk… nothing happens… I wait about two minutes, but still nothing. Then I switch it on again and within about 30 seconds, the oled goes black... But... 30 seconds later it goes on again… So apparently on is off, but it will not stay off... Any suggestions?

Woohoo! You find everything Peter.
It takes about 30 seconds for it to turn off. Did you hit it once and then wait?

Woohoo! You find everything Peter. It takes about 30 seconds for it to turn off. Did you hit it once and then wait? BP I was aware of the delay. I hit the button, wait a minute minimal and see what happens. It was a time consuming test
- Default oled is on, switch shows on - Hit switch -> off - wait 1 minute -> nothing happens. - Hit switch -> on - within 30 seconds, oled switches off, 30 seconds later switches on again - wait again, nothing changes anymore. oled is on, switch shows on (basically correct)
- continue above and second dash
