Overall just all of the sensors that ship with the GroveWeatherPi and Solar add-on. Also the UV/light sensor. It would be nice to see the system in real time for diagnostic and just "fun" purposes! Right now the weather underground is ok, but seems a bit off. And waiting 5 mins per/update is a bit annoying when trying to test new sensors. For all of us that dont have or use iTunes this would be awesome to see. Already have it for the SmartPlantPi system and its great! Some solar info if possible would be cool too? Battery charge, etc.
Thanks!
We appreciate you!!
Bill

Thank you Bill! I'm just heading home for the day, but I got bunch of stuff done on the Solar page, so here is where we are. I'm expecting to release this update around November 27th. I've included the Status page, but nothing working there yet. BP

So far I'd be happy with any screen not relying on wunderground

OK, have it running for about ten minutes now and I am very pleased to start with It takes some patience to swith units or the OLED, but that is just getting used to... On the OLED however: it does not switch off. About a minute after pressing the button, it says OFF, the status window says "OLED Turned off" , but the screen staus on... After five mintes it is still on. Not a problem for me, but if it can be done, it should work IMHO. But... So far so good! Very please with the programm! I am anxious to see it working over some time. Thanx!

Peter, We should have mentioned that the "OLED off" function requires a GrovePowerSave to be inserted between the OLED and the Pi. We are testing this on our solar powered system which has that. We will add that to the documentation. The reason that the buttons have such lousy response (on the order of a minute) is that the PI has to POLL the buttons on the Blynk app. It isn't event driven. To be a nice Blynk user, we only check it every minute. BP

Mmm, unit switching is not always working. I can wait for minutes, but nothing changes. Can I not just set it default to metric, since that is the only setting I use anyway.

Sure... As if I do not have enough problems ...

Peter,
I'll look at the unit switching and figure it out. If your Blynk server is down, the metric/english switch will not work, but neither would the rest of the app.

If it all works, it so cool!!! Hopefully the AM2315 problem will be solved soon.
Next to the strange imperial/metric thing, I also notice a SolarData gauge that stays zero... Not sure what it is supposed to show, but itr doesn't

OK, after a while it should switch. You will see a "units to metric" message on the Page 2 log. It's the battery gauge. It works on my system. BP

Sorry No message, no unit switching and also no gauge Have been like this since I started using the app. The first day I did get the message, and once I did have metric values on the screen, but since then, only imperial while the status screen says Metric.
