Try deleting and reinstalling SDL Weather in Blynk. Mine works just fine. GWP 3.12

Deleted the state/EnglishMetric.txt file and after restarts of all software, it defaulted to imperial, but I was able to switch to metric. So far so good...
The I restarted the python program because it gave errors again and the overview display went back to imperial, the status screen kept showing Metric and switching was not possible again... The button itself switches, but the output stays imperial. Tried adding a newline to the file, but that did not do much. Killed the program, deleted the file, restarted GWP and it defaulted back to imperial. Then switching to metric works. Until a new restart. It seems like there is a problem with the state/EnglishMetric file?

Are you running the program as "sudo"? Sounds like a permissions problem. And please post the errors you received!

Somehow, since a couple of days, my blynk is metric... And stays after resets/reboots/restarts... Thanks for fixing I guess...
The battery gauge still stays empty...

Delete all the files under: ~/SDL_Pi_GroveWeatherPi/state My unit stays in English or Metric for ever. But I'm running it again just to make sure, since I am usually sitting in Metric. BP

Blynk battery gauge is still dead.. I printed the value in the code and the log showed a valif value just before the blynk update line... Somehow blynk does not receive that value or is not doing anythin with it...

Peter, To fix the battery gauge - in update Blynk.py look for the statement that formats V56. Remove the '%' from the format statement and it will work. Evidently the gauge widget just wants a pure number in the text.

Evidently the gauge widget just wants a pure number in the text. Thanx,! Initially that lead to "0.0%" in stead of dashes. Somehwere in the code state.batteryCharge was not filled with the current batterCharge... After fixing that, my gauge came alive! Thanks.

I noticed that the indicator for Barometric Trend "B Trend" never changes when the barometer falls.
Looking back at the past week's logs and barometric.trend is always TRUE.
We've had a few low pressures go through here where the barometer dropped from in to 30s into the 29s.

I have something else that seems strange to me... The only info I get in the status screen I booting and powering down. From the code I would expect much more lines of info. I did get a rain line every hour, but hashed that out of the code, since that was the only thing I got, which at time seemed useless. Now I see I would have had lot more info... I Wanted to add info on lightning to the screen, but found that I should already have gotten that?? Somehow the info is not passed to my Blynk app...
