I noticed that the RasPiConnectServer only binds to the IPv4 address on my pi on port 9600. It would be great if the server would bind to the IPv6 address (or just ::9600) as well (and make sure that the ipad app works with v6 addresses). That way I don't have to worry about "internal" and "external" addresses and NAT, since the v6 address is globally reachable.

Hello natti,
This is a web.py issue and not a RasPiConnectServer issue.
It looks like the latest github version of web.py (https://github.com/webpy/webpy) supports ipv6 so you might try cloning the latest version of web.py and using that in RasPiConnectServer.
Definitely a needed change in web.py
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
BP
