Hey, how are you, I have a full weather kit from about a year ago, I have a couple of questions. I have been graphing here the measurements, I notice that outdoor temp is a couple of degrees off, even though it is in a radiation shield, said shield is exposed to direct sun light, should I cover it? and if so, can the cable be extended without adding noise? And on the subject of cable length, I have the board in a sort of attic where I cannot see the little screen and where the indoor temp measurements make little sense, is there a solution to extend the sensor cables a good 5-10 meters?

Yes, cover it. You can extend the cable up to about 2 meters. If the reliability goes down, then you have exceeded capacitance levels or something (noise?) and then you need to go back down. If you want to go a long ways with the sensors, look at the Solar WXLink kit for OurWeather. shop.switchdoc.com/products/solar-wxlink-kit-for-ourweatherBest regards, BP
