Helo SDL: I am building OurWeather using Arduino with SW V35. As you know, doing a web query returns the "FullDataStream" of metrics. I've been doing some research on your Raspberry Pi projects and SW. Specifically using a control panel built with MiloCreek SW. So a couple questions because I am confused about this... 1. Is there Raspberry Pi SW available today that will read and parse the FullDataStream from OurWeather and display the metrics and store the metrics in an SQL database?
2. What has happened to Milocreek.com? It's not available? 3. What else can you enlighten me on regarding a Raspberry Pi server and the displaying of OurWeather metrics? 4. What is needed to utilize RasPiConnect from the Apple store?
Thanks!

DDodge,
1) Check out the Raspberry Pi DataLogger on GitHub.com/switchdoclabs
2) The Wiki with all the documentation server crashed and it is a major recovery operation to restore it. Date? Unknown at this point.
3) Blynk is a good partial solution - but not a whole solution
4) Just the documentation!

Hi, ! I’m getting ready to order a Wx station and bring with me to the Philipines where my son lives so I can start to expose him at a young age to electronics which is the field I self taught myself now some 50 years or so ago now that I have retired at 62. I made it! May I just send a comment to the MFG that the installation of the Wx station has room for improvements most so with the excessive usage of tie wraps. I might have to wait until I get my own kit but I think we’re setting a bad start for these young’s minds when it comes to the install and a more polished look. I’m thinking maybe with PVC piping that there is a better way to support the station and products that you could also pick up at a local hardrew store. Some of the install examples I would not put my name on as there just to messy even if the install is no the most important at the end of the day. Am I’m the only person to ever mention this? I don’t want to rain on the parade but when I was turning in my shop diagrams in 5th grade sheet metal shop I would alway get an A at my printing of my letters and drawings my shop teacher use to tell me was the best he had seen in years. That was always a great award for me before the start of a project in getting a high grade before the actual work would begin. Shop classes are a rare subject these days if even available any longer due to budget cuts in our school. It’s up to us Dad’s and Mom’s to help our kids along in the field of hands on education if we except our kids to be able to have the basic knowledge to maintain a home or to have better common sense skills after they leave school I feel. Thank you for taking the time to read this and perhaps put my idea of better installations methods to use. Patrick North SF Bay Area.
