I factored in the voltage drop used a brand new connector re terminated the cat5 to usb connection which ends up being 14awg for positive and negative......bam I’m charging the battery again just like in the garage from the outlet. Thanks for the help guys let’s hope I got it this time.

Hey Guys,
I seem to be having an issue with getting the mux controller and now i cant even ssh into it, The suncontrol board seems to behaving but now i get no blinking leds on the pi2grover with sensor activity. not really sure where to start here. The one time i was able to login it gave mee an error message saying it failed to connect to the mux board. i havent touched it so it is eitheer corrosion which idk how that would happen or it just went bad.

Corroision is a possibility and if it is it will be on the RPi pins. Shut down the system and run a fine grit sandpaper over the GPIO pins on both sides. Seat and Reseat the Pi2Grover board several times. See if that makes a difference.
