This may be a bug or just not thought through: I had an event on my network where my router lost all it's dhcp data and changed everything around. When I tried to fix the address in the app to point to the new RPi address, the app lost all knowledge of Pi (my Raspberry Pi).
I hadn't changed the configuration on the RPi to account for the new address so it may have returned an error code.
I had saved a a copy of what I thought was everything (save) and tried to reload it after I got the RPi fixed but all the controls still reverted to Demo Mode and it didn't bring back the servers URL.
any thoughts?
thanks

Tom,
I just tried to reproduce the problem on my iPad and I was unable to do that. Do you have the latest version? There was a system URL problem back in the July version but it's been long fixed.
A device not being there (returning an error code) is a normal situation (our devices are up and down all the time) and does not delete the offending URL.
When you say "Save" you mean from the Panel Setup page?
1) I make a change to the server URL page, then reload the file without saving. The new URL is not there - CORRECT
2) I make a change to the server URL page, then save the file form the Panel Setup Page.
3) I then load a different file and see the Server URL page is different - CORRECT
4) I then load the previous file and see the change from step 2). - CORRECT
We can't seem to reproduce the problem you saw. Are you sure you loaded the expected file?
If you can reproduce it, please post the version number and procedure and we will get right on it.
Sorry you had this problem!
Best regards,
BP

I had several things happen at once because all the IP addresses changed in the house, including the Raspberry Pi. So my issue probably was related to not getting all the configurations correct before I tried communicating If I get it to repeat I'll gather more data. The one major thing I know happened was that the App lost all knowledge of how yo connect to my raspberry Pi. Prior to that, the night before, was the first time I had it all running, and I thought everything was saved.
Yes, I saved the "panel" to a file and also retrieved it.
The App was downloaded about a week ago. It is version 2.47108... I think.
