I am getting a few rain events a day. Not many, but over 24 hrs, maybe .03in with not a cloud in the sky. I suppose it could be something like wind or bugs, but I imagine its issues with that a pull up resistor would solve. Do you have instructions or photos of a good R value and location on the OutWeatherBoard to add one?
Thanks

Could this be fixed by adding a ferret on the drip bucket wire without soldering fixes?

Maybe depending on the noise. A ferret will remove high frequency noise but it will also slow down the transitions. Might as well try it!

Resurrecting an old thread. I’ve got the latest version of the board and there still appears to be a problem with noise rejection. Before I go soldering on a brand new board, what’s the recommended resistance and connection points for the pull-up?

I would try starting with an additional 10KOhm resistor. That gives you 5K Ohms (with the 10K already on the board).
If that doesn't work, try another (that gives you 3.3KOhms).
How do you know it is a problem with noise rejection? What are the symptoms?

I know that the bucket and mount are good as they've been working with another setup for a year or so. I found some nice shielded cables that I had laying around. Going to try that before adding a resistor.

So far it looks like the shielded RJ11 cables have fixed it.
