Folks, On April 15th we launch our new kickstarter SkyWeather. It is a substantial update of the GWP product with a new PiWeather Board, new sensors and a camera and a new software partner for the cloud, weatherSTEM.com. In a lot of ways, weatherSTEM.com is replacing the Weather Underground old API system. Our partnership is providing a free cloud based reporting and data gathering system to all SkyWeather users along with the whole idea of adding pictures to your weather station. It took a lot of negotiation and software to get there, but it's done. It will take pictures, display them and even provide time lapse series all from the camera located in your Raspberry Pi based SkyWeather Station. The key to making this whole project work was the new PiWeather Board (new sensors and it includes the I2C Mux capability on board) FYI, GWP people, we are providing an GWP to SkyWeather Upgrade kit in the next couple of weeks. It will retail at $85.00 and include the new PiWeather board, the Camera, cables, new Light sensor, Air Quality sensor and an upgrade manual. We have a couple of customers that will be beta testing the GWP to SkyWeather Upgrade kit and after they get through it we will put it up on the shop.switchdoc.com and tell you guys about it here. Here are some pictures. The preview link for the Kickstarter: Best regards, John Shovic and BP
