Hi there,
I'm utilising the Grove Weatherboard, with a Seeed Grove HAT connected to my Raspberry Pi. I'm using the Argent Data/SparkFun Anemometer and Wind Vane into the RJ11 plug on the weatherboard.
I'm struggling with figuring out how everything needs to be plugged in to start trying to read data from the anemometer, the Grove HAT i'm using has a built in ADC, so at the moment, i'm using a Grove connector from the A Wind Vane on the Weatherboard into one of the Analog Grove inputs on the HAT, is this correct?
And from there, do I access this information through the i2c bus?
Any help appreciated,
Joe

Joe,
We haven't experimented with the SeeedGrove Hat, but what you said sounds reasonable. Do they just have an ADC on the Hat or do they have a full Arduino that you have to figure out to interface? If it is just an ADC then the I2C interface is most likely correct.

According to their wiki, the HAT has a built-in MCU STM32 ADC.

Hmm. Then you have to go through their onboard CPU to get to the ADC. You can find out how to do that on their Wiki. What I don't get is that they used the SMD grover plugs rather than the thru hole versions. Those will just snap off. We know! We had to modify our Pi2Grover board to use through hole plugs!
