Does any one have this all working with the Watchdog and USB control that does not have a grove connector. (I'm over the many multiple versions of all the boards) I can't get this working or even work out how it should be wired up considering there about 5 different wiring instructions that all follow a different process. Also. Can ANYONE tell what the timer settings actually are on the watchdog. The potentiometer has no markings. The board has no markings. And the diagram has no markings but says it's an example. WTH. Frustrated as ....

Phate,
First of all, what doesn't work? Does the watchdog continuously trigger? Does the USB PowerControl not shut off? Does the USB Power Control not turn on?
Where do you have LIPOBATIN connected?
Look at the potentiometer. See the little tab on the bottom (in the diagram above)? That's the mark you use to set the time.

Zoom in on this line. It should be connected to the Arduino output. It should not be a pulse mode out. It needs to be the tristate line
TP3 USB power control to JP4 OUT Watchdog1

I have no idea what any of that means. I'd tried to follow the groveweatherpi guide as it was all i could find at the time and my usb power control has no grove connector. Thanks. Last part to solve. For hardware anyway. topher2880this make any sense to you........ hurry up and help lol

Wheres the purple linked into on your watchdog Phate? The right hand side pin of JP4 on the watchdog (watchdog1out) to TP3 on the Usb control I still don't get if I should be using the grove connector. And if so what I do about the missing grove connector on the usb control board that the newer boards have

You should have TP3 wired to the indicated pin. Is that what you have? Grove connector just provides more control over the on/off on the USB Power Control. Same hysteresis on that board as you have. BP Attachments:

BP Thanks for the reply. Please the pic attached. Purple jumper wire. Connected correctly I think. To me. It seems like the watchdog just always has an on signal. The patting the dog doesn't seem to be needed. I guess that's why it didn't reboot when the script crashed. Interestingly. Connected as in your pic above. All runs. But as I said doesn't reboot when crashed. However if I move the pin on the watch dog to the pin right next to it the whole system buzzes and won't start. My current setup. Purple jumper wire

Phate,
Do you have your jumper wire from TP3 to the pin indicated (top one) on my picture? It definitely won't work on the lower pin. Has to be pull down only (no pull up).

Phate,
Since we are sending you a package today, 'm going to see if I can get Cindy to send you a new USB PowerControl board with the Grove connector. You have suffered long enough with that very old board.
