Up thread, your advice to Howard. Thinking J15 was a typo I have tried shorting out Pin 1 to Pin 4 on all three grove connectors, J4,J5,J6. Board is not resetting. I am using Ourweather V2 which is running v 51 of the software (it says this on the display when I power up. Again, the admin password is not working, rain gage is not working even though the rain LED flashes when I seesaw the sensor. Am attaching a picture of the board.

OK I got the board to reset by doing the grove connector on the extreme right side, labelled D25. Shorted out pins 1 and 4 on that connector. But still having problems -- it didn't go through the entire information entry page at 192.168.4.1. And still doesn't accept my admin password. Am going to try again.

All I get is the coinfigure wifi screen. I can't set altitude, time or date.

If I fill out the WiFi access screen it works and connects on the next reboot to my wifi at 192.168.0.103. But I simply can not administer the board using www.switchdoc.com/OurWeatherAdmin.html nor do I get data using www.switchdoc.com/OurWeatherPage.html . I do get the JSON data when I type in 192.168.0.103 using my browser. But still no rain gage data. Maybe you should send me a replacement board?

J15 is not a typo. It is the "G DF 25" Grove connector. You can see "J15" above the connector. With that in mind, follow the following directions:
From the OurWeather Assembly and Operations Manual
Resetting OurWeather to Default Values
There is a REST command to do this in the Advanced Programming manual.
Lost your admin password? There is a second way for this situation:
A second way of resetting your OurWeather back to the factory defaults (if you have lost your admin password for example) is to:
With the power off connect a jumper from D25 (Presented as Pin 1 on the J15 Grove Connector) to a Ground wire (Pin 4 of the same connector).
On the J15 connector, Pin 1 is the one inside the board and Pin 4(Ground) is on the outside of the board.
Turn your power on the board and remove the jumper when you see "Trying WIFI AP" your preferences are completely gone.

So yes, using a lighted magnifying glass there is a J15 label between the Grove and the red pin connector. I have shorted pins 1 and 4 out on J15 and reset the Wifi access point. Running V51 so I don't get to set any other parameters. Please confirm that after reset the admin password is "admin". Do I need to change the admin password before I do anything else (Security is not an issue I am on 40 acres deep in the woods of central Va)? Please also confirm the syntax for changing the pass word is "http://192.168.0.103/setAdminPassword?params=admin.newpassword" (My weather station always is addressed at 192.168.0.103)
If I don't have to change the admin password, then please confirm that to update to the latest software I enter "http://192.168.0.103/?params=admin" How long should I wait after this to confirm it has worked?
I am sorry but I need to really confirm these commands, because I am doing them and they don't seem to work.

Note that the setID REST commend works.

But the updateOurWeather command is not working with either the admin password or the password I initially set on this board.

As before it might be better I return this board to you and you send me one that works correctly. The rain bucket never worked on this board. AND THE Barometric pressure is off by 2 inches of Hg. Typically reads above 32.2. I can't set altitude because v51 of the frimware.

Berne,
Something is definitely hosed up. Send me your board and I will personally resolve this issue and return it to you or send a new one.
I am at a loss as this is a different problem.
Let's get it solved!
Send it it:
