Inserted Image no longer work everywhere on the forum.switchdoc.comNB! Inserted images suddenly no longer work everywhere on forum.Switchdoc.com ! ! ! I've looked at older threads with pasted images and images are no longer displayed, neither on Google Chrome nor on Android Phone's. I think that's a problem for the whole forum. Image: (Dont Works) Link: (Works) www.bielefeldt.dk/linkimage/WeatherPlusBoard.jpgAlso see my thread from February 21st.
Here it worked with inserted 4 x pictures, but today, February 24, it no longer works. forum.switchdoc.com/thread/1225/weather-plus-power-supplySuggestionsIt would be nice if forum.switchdoc.com could handle that you could simply upload the images you want to display in a thread, without having to provide server space yourself, or find a place where you can temporarily upload the images you want to show. It is something huddled as it is now.

I feel like my hosting provider is blocking me from linking to my own images on my domain from the US.
I have sent a request to try to get it resolved.
Stay tuned :-)

Inserted Image no longer work everywhere on the forumThe case of the blocked images has now gone a step further. My query to my own web hosting provider proves that they have not blocked anything. Posted pictures on Forums in Denmark works fine. I use some Joomla Templates from RocketTheme, an American Template supplier, and here I can nicely paste linked images from my Danish website. If I try the same on forum.switchdoc.com, it is clear that the images cannot be displayed. Also, the fact that previously posted images on forum.switchdoc.com that have been viewable now no longer appear, after February 21 this year, is proof that something has happened after that date. My conclusion must therefore be that it is the Web Provider that SwitchDoc Labs uses that has started to block linked images outside the US. (Reed the solution later in this article.) It can be seen that forum.switchdoc.com is hosted by Proboards. In this forum I found a post image plugin that supposedly could be installed on forum.switchdoc.com and that allows images to be uploaded directly to the forum. Here is the link to the thread on the topic. Maybe there are more solutions. support.proboards.com/thread/452062/postimage-uploadI dug deeper to find an explanation. Turns out it's because 1) I do not have an SSL certificate on my domain 2) proboard has started using https:// So I need to install an SSL certificate on my own domain to make my own link image work on Proboards again. The problem is described here. support.proboards.com/thread/660962/images-displaying-on-forumHowever, I still think it would be a great advantage if there was a plugin on forum.switchdoc.com where users could insert / upload pictures to the forum. [partially solved]Now I have tried another domain where I have SSL certificate enabled and then I can insert pictures on forum.switchdoc.com again. I would say that the problem is now partially solved but that it would still be preferable with an inhouse image upload solution. Pictures say more than 1000 words, even when it comes to support. :-D Linked Picture: an OurWeather installation in a China box :-) RegnmÄler is Danish and means Rain gauge VindmÄler is Danish and means Anemometer Youtube video
