Hi I was just wondering if you could extend (crimp your own) soil saturation module cables? Is this a possibility? I could like my soil sensor/module outside, ran threw the window, in the ground and that short cable just ain't gonna cut it.
Thanks and have a great day.

That looks like it's RF-11 is it? Also, how far can I fling a cable to/from it, What is the max length?

yes, it is an RF-11 plug. Phone cables. Pay attention to the wiring. The length depends on what signals you are carrying (I2C versus Analog), the cable you use and your electromagnetic noise environment. Look at the product page for some tips. shop.switchdoc.com/products/grove-cable-extenders-pairYou are certainly safe with a meter in most cases, but in some cases you can go a lot farther with the cable. You really need to try and test! BP
