Hi,
I'm trying to switch on/off a USB device that is connected to a PC. Because the Raspberry Pi's GPIO pins are 3.3V, the only thing that worked for me is to connect both Control & Enable pins to GPIOs and turn both of them on while also connecting the ground wire. That was the only stable and programmable solution for the PC (Raspberry in the middle to control it). But the problem is that it worked fine when the Power Control board was directly connected to the PC. When an extension USB3 cable was added between the PC and the male connector of the board, the
USB device doesn't show up on the PC, even though the blue led lights up on the board.
Can anyone please help?
Thank you,

Put on a higher quality USB extended cable. I'm almost positive this is the problem. You are getting a high voltage drop through the cable.
