Hi, Let me share my thoughts:
The idea is to make a two plug device what is able to translate from one I2C to an other. Plug1 would be connected to Pi,Arduino, etc - the I2C bus. The other plug is connected to the device we want to change the address of. With 7 jumpers it is possible to set any desired I2C address. It would only work with devices that have single I2c address.
It often comes up to my mind as a good idea but I don't find any trace of it in reality, so it might by flat out stupid...
What do you think?
