I hooked up a 3.7v 2000mah lipo and the c16 turned bright orange smoked and burned out. I would like to know why. This is the adafruit battery that was recommended. What would cause this to happen? Please help! Attachments:

This is a first. Nice to be unique, isn't it?
Was this the first time you had hooked up the board? This sounds like a bad battery (delivering too much voltage?) or a bad capacitor. With an voltmeter meter measure the voltage on the battery and tell us what you get.
Where and when did you purchase this SunAir board?
