I've been getting some zero value data returned to WeatherUnderground - and i've been trying to find out why i get it.
Yesterday it happened 5 times, today 3 times. It seems random times (04:35, 07:55, 10:40, 11:35, 13:45, 14:50, 15:30, 19:10)
I caught the following REST response while trying to setup some debug to identify the issue:
{"variables": {"EnglishOrMetric": 1, "AirQualitySensor": 0, "ESP8266HeapSize": 32120, "OurWeatherTime": "", "FullDataString": "", "FirmwareVersion": "023", "IndoorTemperature": 0.00, "BarometricPressure": 0.00, "Altitude": 0.00, "OutdoorTemperature": 0.00, "OutdoorHumidity": 0.00, "CurrentWindSpeed": 0.00, "CurrentWindGust": 0.00, "CurrentWindDirection": 0.00, "RainTotal": 0.00, "WindSpeedMin": 0.00, "WindSpeedMax": 0.00, "WindGustMin": 0.00, "WindGustMax": 0.00, "WindDirectionMin": 0.00, "WindDirectionMax": 0.00}, "id": "1", "name": "OurWeather", "connected": true}
So a valid response is returned (all i thought i needed to catch), but it has empty data (new second trap).
Looks like a device issue to track down at time point....

Steve,
Now that is a new problem for sure. Of course you can catch it and retry, but that is not the problem.
Off hand, I would guess that the ESP8266 on the OurWeather board is busy doing something else and doesn't grab the data. We have not seen this happen before.
Has this been happening before? Or did it just start.

I've only noticed recently, since I've been manually positing to Weather Underground. I'll take a look at my dB records tomorrow to see if it's been happening since I've been recording data.

So, i upped the frequency of getting data to be every minute. These are the frequency of errors for the last few days 13-Nov (to midday) - 15 times 12-Nov - 17 times 11-Nov - 25 times 10-Nov - 14 times 9-Nov - 16 times I tried a REST call to the weather station with /setWUSID?params=admin, to see if it would clear the WU update, in case that was the cause. I've been playing with Google charts - apart from the time being out, it's interesting looking at the data.

So it seems to go up in frequency when you increase the updates. Take it down now and see if tracks the other way too.
Great data and graphs!
