So, I love 3D printing. But, I’m also a pragmatist. Hail can be a bear around here and I’m housing the lightning detector outside, where hail is a distinct possibility several months a year. I was going to use pvc pipe and connectors between my weather station enclosure and the lightning detector enclosure. Can you imagine any problems with this?

Sounds great and really robust. We use PVC pipe a lot for structural support and PLA is not going to hold up to hail!
