Just checking to see how/if this is coming along?
I see in one of your tutorials for the Blynk set where the user needs to purchase some more power for $4.99. Is this a one time purchase or is it a subscription based?

PowderJockey,
It's on the list for late December now. We have Blynk up on Smart Garden System and GroveWeatherPi. Next is the ESP8266 based OurWeather.
One time Purchase. That's one of the reasons we decided to use Blynk.

Hi PowderJockey, John sent me some code today to get me started on the OurWeather project. He figured out why Blynk wouldn't respond to a 10 second OurWeather variable send. Blynk was disconnecting. He fixed it. I got a little bit done with the code and integrating it into OurWeather. Here is the first result (with very little working) BP

Will this also fix the dropped connection? Still having to go outside and unplug, reboot and go. Most times I have no idea it has quit.

It should, if you shut off the reading of data by the REST command. Now, that doesn't mean we have given up on fixing that problem, but we wanted to get this up first, which fixes that issue for people that have it. Not everyone has this problem, which of course, drives us crazy trying to find and fix it.
