I guess I am saying on the Linux side of the Arduino Yun, bridging across the hardware input/output side ?

NigeC,
Absolutely. The Arduino Yun linux side supports python and is connected to the ethernet. It may take a bit of fiddling, but yes.

@support --- A bit of fiddling, that is an understatement, especially from so called support. It seems your stock reply. I am however working with some hardware constraints to get the Arduino Yun working with your software.

NigeC,
Well, yes. It is an understatement, true. We have started work on an Arduino Yun server and the corresponding RasPiConnect changes. Don't know when it will be out, but certainly before March.
Right now, we are looking at implementing a REST server for the Yun. We will also have to modify the RasPiConnect/ArduinoConnect software to support that.
Best regards,
BP

Can you give an update on getting Arduino Connect to Talk to the YUN? Or any details on how to get some basic simple communications between the two systems using the standard bridge library.

I just got the go ahead from Management to propose the Arduino Yun interface for the next major release. More details when I have them.
Best regards,
