Hi
I have a OurWeather kit that I bought from SwitchDoc in September. It does have the AM2315 sensor in the kit.
It was working for a week, I was able to query it with the IP address and get the FullDataString. However today, it no longer could connect to the wifi and defaulted to its internal IP address 192.168.4.1. I could connect to it but the Configure Wifi button does not work. I click on it then I get kicked off the wifi. I can't configure the wifi.
I have removed it from the garage where it was mounted and disconnected the wind/rain gauges and the temperature/humidity sensor. So it only has the screen and I still can't connect to the wifi and configure it.
I am running the latest software version 36
I will try to reload the software with the Arduino IDE later today.
I looked around in the forums and I did not find anything that was helpful. Sorry if there is and I missed it.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Tim

Unplug the AM2315 and see if it works. Does it boot normally?

I unplugged everything. I could not get the wifi configuration page to come up.
The original problem was the wifi went down for some reason and the board could not connect. It had all the information in EEPROM but there was no wifi. I did not realize that at first so I did a factory reset on the board. I rebooted the router and wifi now works but since I reset the weather board, it lost its information on the wifi. And I could not get page to set it. It would provide the wifi on 192.168.4.1 and I could connect momentarily but it would boot me off if I clicked on the configure wifi.
I got it to work by downloading the software, hard configuring the wifi etc, and pushing the update to the board. Now it connects but everything is hard coded.
I did look at the serial output from the Arduino IDE, it seemed to be in some reset loop. It was a few days ago but I don't remember what it was exactly.
What I am trying to do is to get the weatherboard to consistently work so I can collect the data and display it. My temporary solution seems to work for now. When I have time, I might try to understand the software better.
Thanks
Tim
