I have RaspiConnect installed on my iphone and ipad
I have set up various objects etc on a few pages on the ipad - working well (really like the way you can customize and add your own python code etc)
Is there a way to share the main xml config file between the ipad and the iphone?
I saved the ipad RaspiConnect xml config file to the RaspiServer and then loaded it on the iphone - but dont see any controls or objects displayed.
Also if I setup new pages on the iphone - is there any danger of overwriting the config file code I have running on the ipad?
(how does it handle multiple IOS devices to the same RaspiConnect server)
thanks - Julian

Julian,
I missed this question! My apologies. I seem to remember answering it, but the answer isn't there.
You can share the main XML config file as you suggested. When you are setting up iPhone pages, look at the dashed lines on Panel Setup pages. That's the part of the screen that is shown on the iPhone.
As long as you name the files differently, no danger of overwriting on the phone.
RasPiConnectServer has no problems responding to different IOS devices. It just starts another thread.
BUT, if you are sharing resources between (files, i2c, etc.) the two device calls, you may have problems. Look at locking threads to prevent double access to resources, etc.
Best regards,
BP
