Hello everyone,
I need to connect multiple solar panels but, unfortunately, there is no time to buy multiple solar panel board...
So I did my self a circuit with diodes in parallel to connect them.
The problem is that the sunairplus board doesn't expose contacts to bypass the JST connector: i only found pads in picture but seems like + JST lead is connected to all of them.
Is there a GND lead i can use to connect my DIY board apart from those exposed as solderless jumpers?
Thanks

You are kind of in luck. The two pads right below the Solar JST connector are the + and - of that connector. No, it is not a bypass, but you can solder to those instead of using the JST connector. This are intended for an optional capacitor on the Solar Panels if you are having stability problems.

Thanks for the reply, but why do they all seem to be connected to positive lead of JST connector?
Testing them with multimeter, it beeps when I touch JST+/CAP- and JST+/CAP+...

One side is connected to Ground and the other to Solar + input of the charge chip. I just checked bot a SunAirPlus and a SunAirPlus2 board and both do not show shorts.
What else do you have plugged into the board? Could your external circuitry have a short in it?
Try it with NOTHING plugged in. If it is still shorted, you have a bad board.
