Hi guys
I am located close to Christchurch on the South Island of New Zealand. I have had my installation for a while now and it is running well after following Sopwith's excellent How-To guide . My only issue is with the reported wind direction. I have searched the WeatherRack/WeatherSense/SkyWeather forums but have not found any threads regarding this issue.
Under the 'Final Installation of Sensors' in the installation guide it states: 'For Southern Hemisphere installations, ignore these (N, S, E, W) and face the solar panel to the North...' 'there will a permanent wind direction error (180ยบ). Correct this in your software.'
Could somebody please offer some guidance as to how to correct this in my software. Cheers
