Hi Doc, Just got my AQI module. Plugged it in to the Dust grove sensor spot on the extension board using the grove connector. If I sudo python3 testDustHM3301.py, I am getting readings eg:
AQI= 134
data= [47, 66, 78, 35, 52, 61]
PM1.0 Standard particulate matter concentration Unit:ug/m3 = 47
PM2.5 Standard particulate matter concentration Unit:ug/m3 = 66
PM10 Standard particulate matter concentration Unit:ug/m3 = 78
PM1.0 Atmospheric environment concentration ,unit:ug/m3 = 35
PM2.5 Atmospheric environment concentration ,unit:ug/m3 = 52
PM10 Atmospheric environment concentration ,unit:ug/m3 = 61
But the Dash app doesn't show a green light on WS air quality or a reading on the Weather tab or any indication its starting to graph AQI data on the WS Air quality tab. I have gone into the configuration utility and also turned on the air quality there. Is there something I'm missing?
Thx, B

BTW, I am getting AQI readings into the SQL database. SO it seems there is an issue with Dash.

What software are you running?
WeatherSense doesn't support a local AQI, but SkyWeather2 does.

I have the SkyWeather2 32GB card you sent me. Has all the software on it for your Raspberry Pi systems. I have another issue which concerns free pins and the Grove connector pin mappings, but I'll post that on a new thread. I haven't had time yet to go through the python code to find the bug which is preventing the AQI data from registering on the dash app. As noted above it does appear to be logged into the SQL database.

Check your SkyWeather Configuration Program. There is a box to check for local AQI.

Did that during setup and rechecked several times.

I am just getting into the code and something seems weird in that the AQI is handled in the wireless sensors part of the code when my AQI is hard wired through a grove port. Still a long way to go for me tracing the logic. But Here is my JSON file: {"key": "value", "ProgramName": "SkyWeather2", "ConfigVersion": "001", "SWDEBUG": false, "enable_MySQL_Logging": true, "MySQL_Password": "xxxxxxxxx", "enable_WLAN_Detection": false, "PingableRouterAddress": "192.168.0.1", "mailUser": "bernyks@gmail.com", "mailPassword": "xxxxxxx", "notifyAddress": "bernyks@gmail.com", "fromAddress": "bernyks@gmail.com", "enableText": false, "textnotifyAddress": "XXXXXXXXXX@vtext.com", "runLEDs": false, "SolarMAX_Present": false, "BMP280_Altitude_Meters": "174", "Sunlight_Gain": "High", "USEWEATHERSTEM": true, "INTERVAL_CAM_PICS__SECONDS": "30", "STATIONKEY": "KN9dhfFv", "WeatherUnderground_Present": false, "WeatherUnderground_StationID": "KWXXXXX", "WeatherUnderground_StationKey": "YYYYYY", "USEBLYNK": false, "BLYNK_AUTH": "", "USEWSLIGHTNING": false, "USEWSAQI": true, "USEWSSKYCAM": true, "ALTWSSKYCAM": false, "DustSensorSCL": "20", "DustSensorSDA": "21", "DustSensorPowerPin": "5", "GPIO_Pin_PowerDrive_Sig1": "4", "GPIO_Pin_PowerDrive_Sig2": "4", "WATCHDOGTRIGGER": "6", "REST_Enable": false, "Camera_Night_Enable": false, "Camera_Rotation": 180, "MQTT_Enable": false, "MQTT_Server_URL": "localhost", "MQTT_Port_Number": "1883", "MQTT_Send_Seconds": "500", "English_Metric": false}

Berne,
Bad boy! use PM to send things like this to me!
You have this configured for SkyWeather2 to take the AQI reading from the WeatherSense Solar AQI. Is this what you intended?
USEWSAQI": true That should be false.
