Per another thread could you confirm that resetting the weatherrack2 zeroes the cumulative rain total coming from the weatherrack2?
I am yet again getting negative rain totals. I lost the wireless weatherrack2 signal and made the mistake of resetting it. My USB wireless antenna is actually the culprit and if I move the skyweather2 3d printed case at all, it comes loose and I loose the wireless signal. (I have to open the case and rejiggle the USB and antenna connection to get the wireless signal back.)
It seems like the software should compensate for a loss of information on rain totals when a weatherrack2 reset is performed. IOW, if new rain is less than rain in last SQL reading, next SQL input = old SQL rain plus any new incremental rain. I would like to table this as a potential bug fix item. Right now I can't quite track the handling of rain total and increments to know where this code should be inserted. Any help along those lines would be useful.
The other threads solution on this issue was to simply zero out the rain in the SQL database, which looses all that info.

Berne,
I think you are correct. I've added a bug to the bug list. I think it should be fixed.
