My weather station had been chugging along just fine for a long time, then just stopped reporting one afternoon. I thought it was the batteries, so I replaced those (Energizer Lithium) and tried again. still nothing. Red light came on for 3 seconds, then went out and never blinked or came back on. Pressing the reset button gets the same results.
testWirelessSensors finds the indoor temp sensor just fine, but nothing else.
What else can I try?

I read in other posts that range could be an issue. So I moved the sensors within 10 ft of the antenna. Still nothing. Looks like it just doesn't want to work anymore. Anybody have any ideas?

Mike,
This doesn't sound like a range issue. It sounds like the WeatherRack2 has died. You pushed the reset button too? I would guess the internal transmitter died.
While I am sure you are way out of warranty, I can get you a coupon applied to a replacement order. PM me if you want this.

Try jiggling the usb 433 Mhz antenna. I have periodic drops from the weather rack2 that are caused by a bad conncection on the antenna/usb connector. Just had one yesterday and fixed it just now by doing this. Was getting the radio from the indorr sensor but not the weather rack since yesterday.
Doc - is there any way to get a more robust connection on the USB 433 MHz antenna?

Yes, do that. Use a fingernail file to gently clean all the contacts on the USB as well as the antenna connections. You may have a corrosion problem started.
