Been playing with the SkyWeather2 "suite" for a while.
I had it all up and running in the case outside, but wound up fighting overtemp issues, that contributed to a trashed SD card; and then a "dry air" static discharge zapped my last remaining Pi 3. I was using the SD card (SanDisk Plus) from SwitchDoc.
I moved to a Pi4 with an mSATA SSD drive in an Argon case - works great; BUT, the SkyCam was one of the reasons I started down this path in the first place; AND, it looks like (at least in Release 27) the WeatherStem interface REQUIRES the SkyCam.
Wondering what my next steps are.
Is a Pi Zero capable enough to drive the software?
Can I go with only remote SkyCam(s) and still get all of the functionality, including WeatherSTEM?
Would a "USB Stick" give me better reliability than the standard SD card?
I thinking any sort of mSATA setup inside the case would just generate more heat.
Has anyone else seen overtemp issues, or have some creative solutions?
Thanks in advance!

1) Pi Zero will handle all but the time lapses. That will require some tweaking (see problems on this board).
Pi ZeroW 2 will do all.
2) No idea. But I would expect so.
3) More heat. Put a fan in.

Unless something has changed recently, WeatherSTEM does not require an image in the payload sent with the telemetry data.
Thanks,
