What did I buy, what do I have. Solar Kit

This was obviously a whim purchase a good few years ago.

Is it still current? Is it still worth building? Is it worth a spares to anyone if I did not build it.

To be honest I cannot remember my inspiration for buying it or why I never opened the boxes to look in. 

What are its capabilities and what should I expect.
