We have released to GitHub version 028 of OurWeather. (SDL_ESP8266_WeatherPlus). We have installed a self correcting AM2315 Driver to improve reliability. Note: We have NOT released this to the auto update system yet. We want a bit more testing before we do that. github.com/switchdoclabs/OurWeatherWeatherPlusBP

Looking at your data, this is something else. The new software fixes the single bit flipping from sample to sample. Send picture of your setup. Is the Sun hitting the sensor at any time? You have continuous curved temperatures and not just spikes.
Are you sure you are running V028? Look at the OLED screen and verify this please.
Best regards, BP

I have been running the 028 since it was available on GitHub and have noticed some high readings as well. I will go back and look at my data and give you more to work with. The temps are not spiking as frequently and they seem to be less than 16C degrees difference. I recall thinking they were closer to 8c degrees different than what it should have been (without doing the math)
Overall, I have seen much improved temperature accuracy. I don’t recall a common time frame right now when the temps were off, but early next week, I will post some data to work with.
Also, I’m confident it’s not a direct sunlight issue.
Thanks,
Richard

Yes I am running 028. My station is currently not in its final location and I noticed that direct sunlight could indeed hit the sensor's current clear plastic enclosure at sunrise. I have it properly covered now and will monitor and report back in a week.

Hi,
After looking at my temp data and timing of the high readings, I looked at the location of the weather box and AM2315. While the AM2315 is never exposed to direct sunlight, the box is. While the box is exposed to direct sunlight, the temp of the plastic increases and appears to affect the AM2315 since it is attached directly to the box. I will move the AM2315 to the wooden post that holds my weather box. The temperature change should be less there than against the plastic box.
I will watch the temp over the next few days and report back what I find.
