Hello all. I am very interested in the OUR WEATHER (Not yelling) kit. Want to purchase. I have read the product specs. Confused on the 7 sensors that can be used. Also is the clock module important. Since I live in Rome, Italy, and shipping times and duty fees, I want to be sure that I get "Everything" I need. The solar package will have to wait for now. In the future,I will get that item. If it helps my "Needs" are, besides the standard kit. Lighting, (Im guessing) Air Quality , the Sun (Sensor?) Any other sensors you advise?
Don't flame much,
Thank You,
Peter (Pietro) Marsico

No Flame at all! And no yelling either. I've exchanged a couple of emails with you now, so here they are reprinted for all to read: Read the following from the bottom up! ------------------------------ Application Support 13 minutes ago (assign) Yes, you are correct. It will wirelessly beam down to OurWeather. BP Whoopus Today 11:58 Hi, so if I understand correctly , the second item would trasmit the signals to the OUR WEATHER? And maybe that would resolve the data problem from the roof to the second floor. Correct? Because here in Italy, the condo does not allow external wires on the side of the building. Unfortunatly, The tv conduits are full. Thanks again, Peter Marsico ________________________________ Application Support Today 11:15 Yes, we will be supporting the sun sensor for the OurWeather. It's on our list! Turns out we have a solution for the sensor extension. Check this out: shop.switchdoc.com/collections/wireless/products/solar-wxlink-wireless-data-link-designed-for-the-weatherrack-and-the-weatherboardThis works with OurWeather too. Best, BP Whoopus Today 11:00 Will the sun sensor eventually be supported in the future. And yes the lightning sensor the most appealing to me, with the other suggestions. I will confess however that sometimes"I not the sharpest tool in the shed" Im 60 yrs. old and noticing that I have the shakes when I solder. This kit is something seems to friendly enough. I dabble in Deb. I do have an installation problem for the time being. However another stupid question. Can the added sensors be extended. Meaning splicing and adding wire? I live in a condo, that has 3 floors. I reside on the second. Don't know if the wifi signal gets to the roof. But thats my problem. Thanks again, Peter(Pietro)Marsico ________________________________ Application Support Today 10:41 Hello PIETRO (not yelling), The clock module comes with the kit and provides a real time clock, even without an Internet connection. Definitely, get the air quality kit. And maybe the lightning detector expander kit. You can also get an I2C Sunlight sensor which would be useful and cool (we haven't gotten around to supporting it in the OurWeather kit yet). This is a great introductory kit to build and then to modify. We provide all the open source software. Best regards, BP
