hi guys,
having an issue here. assembled and done everything in the manual to setup the weatherboard.
displays on webpage just fine. Everything was working well.
Then I decided to updated the software from the admin page to ver 32. Everything appeared to install correctly.
Now after about 10 min, the board freezes. as in page won't refresh new data, and a reload of page just say "Reading.....".
on the board itself, the first time it froze the orange light at the SCL was lit up and OLED was blank. Pressing the reset button did nothing. I had to unplug the power to reboot it.
this time, the OLED is frozen on WndGs and pressing Reset restarted it successfully.
I updated to the latest version 32 before I noticed these issues.
I read on the page for the Wxlink/Solar, that the realtime clock (with battery) actually shouldn't be used as it isn't very reliable. So i removed it from the Ourweather (while unplugged from power of course). The time is screwed up, but it seems more stable and hasn't crashed yet. With the realtime clock, the crash varies from 10 min to 1 hour. The freeze is definitely triggered by me clicking GetCurrentWeather. But it also freezes on its own.
Any help would be appreciated.

David,
We run this stuff for months in your configuration.
Here's an RMA for a new clock.
SwitchDoc Labs RMA #062618-01 909 S Shelley Lake Lane Spokane Valley, WA 99037
Take a look at the forum and search for browser problems and lockup. That's what you are seeing. Has to do with helper applications.
Where is your browser? Try it on the phone.

Thanks, good to know. The browser issue did seem to be the problem. I had been using Chromium (Chrome) with ublock origin and umatrix. I switched to stock firefox with no extensions and the device has not frozen.
When this device is in the field, I'll only be using the api to pull data into a dashboard. sounds like that is the most stable configuration anyway, yes?
I think the clock is fine, I had only removed it to try and isolate if that was the issue. Is there some other reason I should RMA it?
Thanks,

No, not at all. If it is not locking, there is no problem!
