I've recently updated the software of both the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B and the GroveWeatherPi, but now both the AM2315 and OLED are stated as not present. I've done i2cdetect -y 1 twice quickly and it will pick the AM2315 sensor up on the second run as 0x5C and always show the OLED as 0x3C. I see in this post, someone else is having a similar issue with at least the OLED, so I assume it must be the new Stretch update that caused it, but thought I would bring attention to the issue since it's more than just one of us. Is there anything I should be trying? Thanks for the help.

Small update. I deleted and then re-downloaded everything; I am still having the same issues, only now I can't install the files for the AM2315. Following the ReadMe, when I attempt sudo apt-get install libi2c-dev I get the following message:
"Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Package libi2c-dev is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source
E: Package 'libi2c-dev' has no installation candidate

Hmm. That doesn't happen on our test system under Stretch.
Can you post the results of:
cat /etc/os-release

OK, I've got a bit of homework to do now. I'll be able to look at this on Wednesday afternoon I'm out of town until then.

Sorry, I thought I had replied to you. The system works find with our Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Stretch.
What Raspberry Pi are you using?

Thanks. No problem, I understand I'm not the only one and you've got other things going on.
I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.

OK, first thing is to solve the libi2c-dev problem solved. Then we can look at the OLED problem.
I'm trying to do this now, but I don't have my Stretch Raspberry with me. I'll look at it when I get back to the lab tomorrow.
This works for me! So, let's figure it out together.
