I fetched the latest version of the software from GitHub and tried to compile it against ESP8266 Arduino-core 2.4.2. Compilation fails with some errors from 2.4.2/libraries/Wire/Wire.h. Is this supposed to work? UpdateThe wire.h thing deflects the real problem. In 2.4.2 WPS is disabled by default (a good thing actually). The WiFiManager fixed this upstream in v0.14 (through github.com/tzapu/WiFiManager/pull/645) but since SDL kind-of forked the WiFiManager this has to be applied to OurWeather as well. I'll raise a PR for that. However, looking at the state of the repository on GitHub (pending PRs, no feedback to issues) I'm not sure if it's really worth the effort. |

Running on Arduino 1.8.5
Updated ESP8266 libraries to: 2.4.2
SDL_ESP8266_WeatherPlus compiles correctly with the usual warnings about wire.h present since way back in 1.x.x
