Any chance you can change the order of forum threads to show the new responses at the top? Right now each forum thread shows the conversation from the oldest to the newest which is the reverse of desired operation.
This page shows discussion starting Dec 30, 2018 at 2:13am Forum user must click on the last page link [currently 4] to see latest response:

Sorry. Was not clear. I am talking about the order of Replies within forum Threads. The Recent threads link shows Threads, ordered by newest, but clicking on the thread still shows the Replies by oldest first. I would like to see the latest Reply show first within the Thread so I do not have to go tot the last page of each thread and scroll down to see the latest response. Thanks.

We can find no option to change that unfortunately!

Well that sucks. I would think that would be a basic setting of any Forum software. Thx for checking into it. You might want to consider bbPress which is pretty good forum software that could run on your existing WordPress site.

Thanks for the suggestion. We ran bbpress for about a year and had nothing but issues with it. We then moved to this forum software, and with the current exception, have been pleased.

Totally unrelated to this SDL OurWeather: If you have time can you let me know problems with bbPress? I use this on a number of sites and have not had issues. Want to know if I am missing hidden problems.

It was a combination of formatting and email management to forum users. Also, it was interfering back and forth with our theme.
This is about 18 months ago.

Thanks for the info on bbPress. Yes the stock templates are not great and often require changes to make it work with WP themes. The Admin UI is sorely lacking for configuration but everything can be modified using files. I'm not a fan of WP in general but I inherit many sites, once original developers cannot fulfill more complex client requests, so its a regular income.
