Sopwith,
You are awesome! Could you do this for me to see exactly what you are running?
pi@SwitchDocLabs:~ $ cat /etc/os-release
PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)" NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux" VERSION_ID="10" VERSION="10 (buster)" VERSION_CODENAME=buster ID=raspbian ID_LIKE=debian HOME_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/" SUPPORT_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianForums" BUG_REPORT_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianBugs"
There are known bugs in Bullseye with the Raspberry Pi Camera
We would love to convert over to Bullseye in the next major SDCard release.

Glad to hear that! It's one of those things that we have been thinking about doing, converting all our old drivers to Python3. BP

Summary of Trials would be appreciated.
I'll give WeatherSTEM a call and see what they are planning to do.

There is a limit somewhere how fast the gust will measure. Since we are depending on interrupts, it will depend on a lot of factors, such as the speed of your Pi, what else you are running, and probably the phase of the moon (that's humor).

Can you Ping 137D?
ping 10.0.0.48
and post the results.
Might do:
trace route 10.0.0.48
and post the results.
Make sure you have the latest version of the SGS software too.

Well, that is a really old one!
We have tested with Pi ZeroW, Pi3B, Pi4B, Pi Model A.

I would say that something else is reporting something like channel 3. Could you run the testWirelessSensors and wait for channel 3 to show up? That should help figure out what is interfering.

Mark,
SkyWeather2 Hat uses these pins:
GPIO - Function GPIO04 (Grove Connector) GPIO05 (Grove Connector) GPIO06 (Grove Connector) GPIO12 (Grove Connector - controls power to VDD on dust connector Grove Connector) SDA SCL GPIO13 (to pin header - not used) - but is pulled up to 3.3V GPIO19( to pin header - not used) - but is pulled up to 3.3V GPIO20 (to dust sensor Grove Connector) GPIO21 (to dust sensor Grove Connector) TXD RXD

Would you post the first 30 lines of /home/pi/SDL_Pi_SkyWeather2/wirelessSensors.py
Something is wrong.

Maurice,
I'll put it on the list to look at. Not sure why yours wouldn't work while others do!

Take the box apart and take a pair of pliers and you can turn the lens to focus the camera. It's tight, but it works.

festeraeb,
Good ideas. We should rework the way rain is handled by SkyWeather2 in a comprehensive manner. I'll add that to the list of the next version (It will be started in late January at this point).
