We just released the add-on camera (Solar SkyCam) today on Kickstarter.
Uses an ESP32, WiFi and MQTT to send the pictures to the Raspberry Pi. Totally different mechanism.

It still looks like you don't have the right version installed. Looks like you have a slightly older version. Download github.com/switchdoclabs/rtl_433and try again. BP

That looks perfect! Except where is 152? Down load the latest version. do a sudo make clean and the rebuild. I just checked. AS is up on rtl_433. github.com/switchdoclabs/rtl_433BP

I would think so too. I'm really interested in the behavior around and above 151 and I'm waiting our test cases too. I can simulate this with a box and a can of hair spray, but it will probably destroy the unit. I'm going to schedule a test.

*10 means that you divide the reading by 10 to get the results.
Go into the WEatherUnderground.py file and add a print statement to print out what is being sent to WU. Then let's look at that.

sudo /usr/local/bin/rtl_433 -q -F json -R 146 -R 147 -R 148 -R 150 -R 151 -R 152
Run this command and post the results. I don't believe you have the right version of rtl_433 installed. Not sure what has happened.

No, you shouldn't. Here is a picture of my test setup that worked. BP Attachments:

And all of our units, and the vast majority of units out there work fine. I really wonder what this problem is. Still sounds like the network to me, but we worked very hard to figure that out and we didn't get anywhere with your unit. So, I don't know what else to try.

Jay,
We will have to do some research. I see where our unit topped out just for a minute on 151. But it returned to normal.

Did you try this?
Also, make sure you are using the HM3301 repository. The SkyWeather2 copy may be out of date.

Hmm. You have some kind of noise present. Take a picture and post it. Any other transmitters near by? Especially 433MHz transmitters.

No general interface, it's a custom interface designed for Solar SkyCams and the local Pi Camera. Open source, so you can modify it to support other cameras.
