Hello! Middle School Science teacher again We are nearly done setting up our weather station! This has been so much fun! We are about to weatherproof it and do our final testing, but we are trying to access/set up the DASH app on our raspberry pi. We have followed the directions in the manual "Configurations and Operations Manual" but get this response in our terminal window ( imgur.com/a/lphZuBb) and cannot connect to the dash app through a browser window (we get a "refused to connect" error). Any helpful ideas or suggestions? we have already gone through and done the configuration through the SkyWeather website. Thanks for your help! Ms. A and the 7th and 8th grade

You need to do these steps one line at a time in terminal:
Current Version: April 17, 2021 - Version 025 - Bug fixes - no major new features
Note: You need to apply the following commands to upgrade:
cd cd SDL_Pi_SkyWeather2 git pull sudo pip3 install vcgencmd sudo mysql -u root -p < WeatherSenseWireless.sql sudo mysql -u root -p WeatherSenseWireless < updateWeatherSenseWireless.sql

You should do this as well:
sudo apt-get install libtool libusb-1.0-0-dev librtlsdr-dev rtl-sdr build-essential autoconf cmake pkg-config
cd rtl_433/ Or cd SDR/rtl_433 (if you have the SDL SD Card)
mkdir build cd build cmake .. make clean make sudo make install

After all of the above, you also need to open a new terminal window, cd down into dash_app in the SkyWeather2 directory and type "sudo python3 index.py"
Then open your browser to the ip address at the port shown as in the manual.

So, I haven't yet tried the solutions above because out weather station is no longer transmitting our data to our SkywWeather website. Any thoughts on why?

Stop SkyWeather2 and run "sudo python3 testSkyCamera.py" and post the results here. That will help us diagnose your problem!

Was the image referenced as sent in the screenshot visible on WeatherSTEM?
Thanks,
Jason

I don't think so. The only image I could find on WeatherSTEM (at the bottom right hand corner of the page) is a picture from yesterday.
Thanks, Aurore

In the screenshot, config.STATIONKEY does not have a value. Did you remove that in the screenshot image?
Thanks,
Jason

No, I didn't! Which is strange, because I def have the station key entered in the Sky Weather configuration page (https://imgur.com/TA18Ue1)

It is missing in the previous screenshot. Did you add it and save the configuration? If so, can you re-run testSkyCamera.py?
Thanks,
Jason

I just did, and the Station Key is still not coming up when I run testSkyCamera.py

Hmmm...that's very interesting! When you run sudo python3 SkyWeatherConfigure.py is the key still missing? If so, can you run the command ls -al SkyWeather2.JSON and post the output?
Thanks,
Jason

Here is another screenshot of me running the SkyWeatherConfigure.py, I rewrote the Station Key, hit "save and exit", reboot the raspberry pi, and ran testSkyCamera.py imgur.com/Shv9GRn
